What is the Internship Program?
This program is designed to expose the community & Students to the various aspects of radio broadcast operations where he/she has the option of being assigned to one of the following departments:
Digital / Content
Promotions & Marketing Department
The internship program is an unpaid opportunity for students and the community, seeking to gain excellent hands-on job experience in the radio broadcasting industry.

Who is eligible to participate?
The internship program is for students and members of the community.
What are the requirements for this program?
Candidates must complete an application, provided by Red1 Broadcasting, to be submitted along with a cover letter and resume before the application deadline in order to be considered for any available internship opportunity.
As part of the application process, Red1 requires that all students and community members provide the following information upon acceptance into internship program (documents must be furnished at time of interview):
Two letters of recommendation (i.e. professor, employer, etc.)
What will be expected of the intern?
Upon acceptance, all interns are anticipated to participate in the program for the duration of (approximately 8-10 weeks) with a minimum of 15-20 hours per week. Red1 internship program take place during regular business hours, M-F, 9am-5:30pm (less 1 hour lunch), unless otherwise agreed upon by student or community member. A schedule will be provided to all students based on their availability and the availability of department managers and/or on-site project supervisors.
Resumes must be submitted by April 1 to be considered for the summer ;
August 1 for the fall session; December 1 for the spring semester.
